Why indoor fitting makes more sense

We understand and appreciate the argument that the preference to see the entire ball flight path is highly valued by our clients, but based on fifteen years of experience with fitting sessions both indoors and outdoors, we have a clear conclusion that indoor testing of new golf clubs is better for the client.

😎 Consistency is key

As mentioned above, consistency is key. In golf, we all strive to play consistently, which is why we recommend all our clients to undergo new golf club fitting indoors. In our indoor fitting centers, the temperature is stable, there is no wind or snow, and the play is done on the highest quality mats.

1. The surface you hit from is always the same

We use the highest quality artificial fiber mats that perfectly simulate grass and surface resistance. Thanks to this, we can objectively evaluate your shot parameters on the Trackman.

When fitting outdoors, several "inconsistent" factors come into play, such as higher/lower grass from which you hit, dense/sparse grass, sanded tee areas, soft or hard surfaces. All of these affect the evaluation of spin, launch angle, trajectory, and overall distance.

2. Golf balls

In our indoor fitting centers, we use Titleist balls, which we trust and can guarantee measurement accuracy with. If you have a preferred different brand, we recommend bringing your own balls and we will conduct the fitting with your balls.

Compared to outdoor fitting, this eliminates differences between driving balls. These are suitable for practice but not for measuring and evaluating your shots. Every golf course uses a different brand of driving balls, often mixing old with new, some are played more than others, etc.

3. Weather

Outdoor fitting days are very weather-dependent. When we try to measure your swing and select the ideal golf clubs for you, we need ideal conditions—no rain, no wind, and stable temperature. Consistency is key.

4. Clothing

During indoor testing, you will feel comfortable in a t-shirt and pants, which you will likely wear for most of your rounds. Your mobility won’t be restricted by extra layers of clothing, and you can swing fully without compromise.

5. Precise measurement technology

For indoor golf club fitting, we use TrackMan, which most accurately measures your swing parameters and ball contact. Thanks to this, we can evaluate which clubs will be perfect for you.
