Why indoor fitting makes more sense 

We understand and appreciate the arguments that being able to see the ball’s entire flight path is highly valued by our clients, but based on fifteen years of experience with indoor and outdoor fitting sessions, we have reached the clear conclusion that indoor testing of new golf clubs is better for the client.

😎 Consistency is key 

As mentioned above, consistency is key. We all strive to play consistently in golf, which is why we recommend that all our clients have their new golf clubs fitted indoors. Our indoor fitting centres offer a stable temperature, no wind or snow, and play takes place from the highest-quality mats.

1. The hitting surface is always the same

We use the highest-quality artificial-fibre mats, which perfectly simulate grass and surface resistance. This enables us to objectively evaluate your shot parameters using TrackMan.

During an outdoor fitting, several “inconsistent” factors come into play, such as higher or lower grass, dense or sparse grass, a sandy teeing area, and a soft or hard surface. All of these affect the evaluation of spin, launch angle, trajectory, and overall distance.

2. Golf balls

At our indoor fitting centres, we use Titleist golf balls, which we trust and whose measurement accuracy we can guarantee. If you have a preferred different brand, we recommend bringing your own balls, and we will carry out the fitting using them.

Compared with outdoor fitting, this eliminates differences between range balls. They are suitable for practice, but not for measuring and evaluating your shots. Every golf facility uses a different brand of range balls; old and new balls are often mixed together, some have been played more than others, and so on.

3. Weather

Outdoor fitting days are highly dependent on the weather. When we are trying to measure your swing and select the ideal golf clubs for you, we need ideal conditions: no rain, no wind, and a stable temperature. Consistency is key.

4. Clothing

During indoor testing, you will feel comfortable in the shirt and trousers you will probably wear for most of your rounds. Your mobility will not be restricted by additional layers of clothing, and you can swing at full speed without compromise.

5. Precise measurement technology

For indoor golf club fitting, we use TrackMan, which measures your swing parameters and contact with the ball with the highest accuracy. This allows us to determine which clubs will be perfect for you.
