The adventure of the RUNNER brand began during the pandemic in 2021, when Simon LINOT, inventor and founder of RUNNER SAS, used his free time after leaving his job as an automotive designer in France.

He was introduced to golf by his uncle (an American professional golfer), and his passion for golf developed over more than 20 years. He decided to combine this passion for the game with his design experience into ONE project.

That’s how RUNNER was born.

After completing the design and development, the first prototype was made in March 2021. After extensive testing and reviews from both professional and amateur golfers, Simon met with the company POTESTAT in his native Normandy region.

Together with POTESTAT, they decided to join forces to promote, manufacture, and sell the first innovative putter that perfectly adapts to the swing and preferences of every golfer.

RUNNER introduced its first concept to the world at the PGA GOLF SHOW 2022 in Orlando, Florida, where it won the innovation award “Best in Show.”
