A Putter, or golf club for the putting green, is the club you will use most often to finish a hole. There is a truly wide range of designs available today, and choosing the right golf Putter can take a few dozen minutes. For the right selection, we definitely recommend visiting a brick-and-mortar store. On site, you can try out how each design suits you at address. Each Putter head has a different weight, and you can most commonly choose from three lengths: 33", 34", or 35". 

You should certainly not overlook the sound and feel at impact with the ball when choosing a Putter. Some golfers will prefer the quiet sound of hardened plastic inserts, while others will prefer the ping of a metal insert. Most manufacturers do not distinguish between women’s and men’s Putters. A women’s Putter is selected according to the same criteria as a men’s Putter; women most commonly choose a mallet type and a length between 32" and 34".
