Mizuno Genem are the first Mizuno golf shoes to be environmentally friendly, using recycled materials and a BLOOM TPE midsole (a resin made from a blend of algae). This is one way to remove harmful phosphorus and ammonia from industrial wastewater—using the fastest-growing plant on Earth. The Genem model also features a recycled BOA lace, a recycled synthetic upper, and recycled synthetic fibres inside the tongue and heel collar.
