Callaway CB Wedge, steel shaft
The CB model has larger heads than traditional wedges, which helps give you greater confidence at address. For the first time in this category of wedges, hollow-head technology with a microbead filling has been used to dampen vibrations on off-center hits, creating a soft feel similar to forged wedges. You can also look forward to plenty of spin on very short shots thanks to the aggressive grooves and the impact-area surface treatment. The CB model is available with either steel or graphite shafts, for men or women. As with traditional wedges, this model can also be custom-ordered to suit your physique (shaft lengthened/shortened, thinner/thicker grip).
Greater confidence and forgiveness thanks to the shape and improved design.
The cavity-back construction gives players greater confidence at address, contributing to improved playability on all types of shots. The larger head size and grooves across the entire face (on the 54°–60° wedges) increase confidence at impact.
Outstanding feel thanks to game-changing construction
Callaway’s first wedge with urethane microspheres. They are strategically positioned behind the impact area to improve feel and sound while providing an incredibly soft feel during play.
Aggressive spin and improved control thanks to Jaws Grooves
Thanks to Jaws grooves—the most aggressive grooves in golf—the Callaway CB wedges are absolute spin machines. These grooves have been face-blasted to increase surface roughness, ensuring spin across the entire impact area on short shots around the green.
Premium shafts and grips
True Temper Elevate 95 is the standard steel shaft, while graphite options are available in Project X Catalyst 65g and UST F1 in women’s flex. In collaboration with Golf Pride, we developed a special longer wedge grip that allows players to feel every approach shot perfectly.
