Honma Beres 09 Black Hybrid is designed for players who want maximum confidence on long shots to the green and when playing from difficult lies. Precise Japanese manufacturing from the first design to final assembly guarantees top craftsmanship and consistent performance. The limited Black version (2★) combines an elegant look with technologies supporting high trajectory, stability, and control.

High launch and controlled trajectory

The head construction uses asymmetric thickness of the impact face and crown. Their thinning increases flexibility at impact and supports higher golf ball speed. The expanded area of maximum flexibility helps maintain stable distance even on off-center hits on the impact face.

The result is a high, strong, and at the same time controlled trajectory that allows effectively stopping the ball on the green.

Tungsten weighting for draw bias and stability

14g tungsten-nickel weighting is placed closer to the back near the sole, which:

  • supports draw bias and facilitates closing the head at impact,

  • increases head stability during the swing,

  • helps a higher launch angle.

CG Angle +5.0° contributes to better "catching" of the ball on the impact face and limits the tendency for rightward spin (slice). The Hybrid thus offers consistent direction and confidence with every shot.

Specific sole shape for better turf contact

The unique sole shape improves interaction with the surface and allows smoother passage of the head during the swing.
