Mizuno JPX One Select, men's golf driver
The Mizuno JPX ONE SELECT represents a player-tuned version of the JPX ONE technology, designed for golfers who demand maximum control, lower spin, and the ability to shape shots.
The Driver uses the same revolutionary technology as the standard JPX ONE, but in a more compact 460cc head, which looks clean, confident, and meets the demands of better players.
The foundation of performance is the world’s first NANOALLOY™ impact face, developed by Mizuno in cooperation with material specialists Toray. The microscopic polymer structure at the nano scale allows the impact face to dynamically change elasticity upon impact, minimizing energy loss and maximizing energy transfer to the golf ball. The result is higher ball speed across a significantly larger impact zone, even on strikes away from the ideal contact point on the impact face.
The newly designed CORTECH Face, optimized specifically to work with NANOALLOY™ technology, is up to 0.25–0.35 mm thinner in key zones than previous generations. This leads to a significant expansion of the CORAREA (high rebound effect zone), which is larger than on the ST-X and ST-Z 230 models. The golfer thus gains a combination of speed, consistency, and confidence in every shot.
The JPX ONE SELECT has a shallower center of gravity (CG), which contributes to lower spin and a more penetrating trajectory. The weight properties of the head are tuned for a straight to slightly fade bias, which will be appreciated especially by players with a stable swing who want to eliminate over-rotation of the head and have full control over the ball’s flight direction. The Driver is therefore very readable and allows active work with trajectory.
The construction also includes an 11g rear weight, which can be used during fitting for fine-tuning stability, spin, and overall head balance. The Quick Switch system allows quick shaft changes, so the Driver can be precisely adapted to individual swing parameters.
The Mizuno JPX ONE SELECT is an ideal choice for advanced amateurs and performance players who want modern speed and technological advantage, but at the same time prefer a compact look, lower spin, and maximum controllability from the tee.
