Mizuno S23 Wedge, Copper Cobalt

If you have tried classic Blade wedges and your approach shots still had too little spin, with the ball rolling a long way across the green, it is time to try the S23 model. Thanks to its toe-weighted center of gravity, the ball stays in contact with the impact area for longer, generating more spin and resulting in approach shots with better landing control, so the ball will always stop shortly after landing. Like the T24 model, the S23 is forged from a single piece of carbon steel and offers an exceptionally soft feel at impact.

The wedges are fitted with a standard Dynamic Gold steel shaft in Wedge flex. The S23 was originally designed for recreational players, but it came as a surprise when quite a few professional golfers on Tour also started playing it. The main benefits of the Mizuno S23 wedges that you can look forward to are: a soft feel at contact; greater forgiveness—your shots will not lose as much distance when they are not struck directly in the center; more spin—thanks to the toe weighting, the ball will have a higher spin rate and stop shortly after landing; and more precise contact—new grooves and laser treatment of the impact area remove moisture and debris for precise contact and better results.
