Mizuno is renowned for its forged irons, which offer an incredibly soft feel at impact. You can fully enjoy this sensation on full-swing shots, but wedge shots called for something new: a copper layer that softens the feel of shots played with a three-quarter or half swing.

S – narrow sole, ideal for full, straight shots, most commonly with a PW or AW. D – versatile sole for SW and LW, suited to most players who want to experiment with different types of shots around the green. C – features a shaped sole for greater shot versatility from firm ground. X – sole shaped to meet the needs of the best players, who like to manipulate the face, open it, close it or play from the toe. The X offers limitless creative possibilities.

Each head in the new T-22 range is weighted to perform best on the types of shots most commonly played with it. The PW and AW have a low centre of gravity so the ball launches into the air and descends more steeply onto the green for better control after landing, while the SW and LW have the centre of gravity positioned in the upper rear section for a lower trajectory and maximum spin on short shots where the ball is not fully compressed.

A wet impact area reduces spin, which is why Mizuno uses laser-etched micro-grooves that channel moisture away more effectively and improve stability and control.
Longer groove life thanks to special boron-infused steel.
Mizuno has been using boron-infused steel in its irons for several years and is now bringing this material to its wedges. Boron makes the steel stronger, giving it a longer service life. As a result, the grooves remain more precise for longer, so you can rely on maximum performance for longer.
