The Odyssey Ai Dual Double Wide belongs to the latest generation of putters, built around advanced Ai-DUAL Insert technology. This two-layer urethane insert, designed using artificial intelligence, combines a soft outer layer with a firmer inner section. The result is exceptionally consistent golf ball speed across the entire impact area, excellent feel at contact, and a smooth transition into a pure roll.
The new FRD (Forward Roll Design) grooves are deeper and more aggressive, with a 19° incline. Working together with the two-layer insert, they promote an earlier forward roll and reduce skidding across the green. This provides better distance control, a more stable ball path, and greater confidence on both short and long putts.
The distinctive Double Wide shape features a wider head body, increasing the moment of inertia and significantly contributing to high forgiveness. The Putter remains stable even on off-center strikes across the impact area, helping maintain the direction and pace of the putt.
The optional ½ Ball Alignment system is one of Odyssey’s latest alignment technologies. It visually “frames” the golf ball, making it easier to center on the impact area and helping you aim more precisely at the hole. This makes setup more natural and repeatable.
The standard SL 90 shaft is a lightweight steel shaft with counterweighting in the grip end (20–30 grams depending on the grip). This balance supports a smoother putting stroke and greater swing consistency, as confirmed by Odyssey’s long-term testing.
For players who prefer a heavier and more stable setup, the Cruiser option is also available. It features a heavier head, a longer and more substantial SL 140 shaft, and an extended 17" grip—ideal for a calmer putting tempo and maximum control.
