Ping G440 Hybrid

The new Ping G440 hybrids raise the bar in higher trajectory, stability, and dependable accuracy. Thanks to a lower, thinner face, a lower center of gravity, and a thoughtful combination of materials (stainless steel, maraging steel, and carbon), these hybrids deliver significantly faster ball speed and a higher launch. The range of lofts and Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel adjustability also ensures that every player can adapt them to their swing and the distance gaps in their bag. Whether you need to attack the green from the fairway, confidence off the tee, or a reliable club from the rough, the Ping G440 hybrid is an excellent choice for maintaining a consistent, smooth pace of play.

Redesigned Face and Optimal Trajectory
The key to the success of the Ping G440 hybrids is their shallower (by 8%) and thinner (by 6%) face, which increases flexibility and helps players strike the ball higher on the face. This makes it easier to achieve a higher launch and longer carry. The optimized thickness distribution across the face also stabilizes ball speed on shots struck away from the ideal sweet spot, delivering consistent results and better performance even on off-center hits.

Free-Hosel Technology and Lower CG
During the construction of the Ping G440 hybrids, 4 grams were removed from around the hosel, lowering the center of gravity by a full 12%. Combined with the lower face, this produces an even higher launch and more effective stopping power on the green. This innovation, known as Free-Hosel Technology, enables better control over the ball flight and increases forgiveness when contact is marginal.

Contoured Sole Design and Carbon Crown
The sophisticated sole shape (Contoured Sole Design) ensures that the Ping G440 hybrid sits on the turf at a consistent angle, even when loft or lie settings change. The carbon crown (CarbonFly Wrap Crown) saves weight and moves it where it is needed most—to the bottom of the club for greater stability at impact. It also delivers a pleasantly muted, confident sound at ball contact.

Extensive Loft Offerings and Trajectory Tuning 2.0
Ping G440 hybrids are available in a wide range of lofts (from 17° in the 2-hybrid to 34° in the 7-hybrid), making it easy to fill the gaps between long irons and fairway woods. The adjustable Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel allows the loft to be fine-tuned by ±1.5° and the lie to be adjusted up to 3° flatter, helping you achieve the right ball flight for your swing. For example, the 2-hybrid with a slight fade bias is excellent off the tee, while the 5-hybrid and higher lofts are designed with a slight draw bias and higher trajectory for easier control on approaches to the green.
