Ping G440 Hybrid

The new Ping G440 hybrids raise the bar in higher trajectory, stability, and reliable accuracy. Thanks to a lower and thinner face, a lowered center of gravity, and a thoughtful combination of materials (stainless steel, maraging steel, and carbon), these hybrids deliver significantly faster ball speed and higher ball launch. The range of lofts and the adjustable Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel also ensure that every player can customize them to their swing and distance gaps in the bag. Whether you need an approach shot from the fairway, confidence off the tee, or a reliable club for the rough, the Ping G440 hybrid is a great choice for maintaining a consistent and smooth pace of play.

Redesigned face and optimal trajectory
The key to the success of the Ping G440 hybrids is their shallower (by 8%) and thinner (by 6%) face, which increases flexibility and helps players strike the ball higher on the face. This makes it easier to achieve a higher launch and longer carry. The optimized thickness distribution of the impact area also stabilizes speed even on off-center hits, so you can expect consistent results and better performance even on less precise strikes.

Free-Hosel Technology and lower CG
In designing the Ping G440 hybrids, 4 grams were shaved from around the hosel, lowering the center of gravity by a full 12%. Combined with the lower face, this means even higher launch and more effective stopping power on the green. This innovation, called Free-Hosel Technology, allows better control of ball flight and increases forgiveness when the strike is on the edge of accuracy.

Contoured Sole Design and carbon crown
The refined shape of the sole (Contoured Sole Design) ensures that the Ping G440 hybrid sits on the turf at a consistent angle even when loft or lie is adjusted. The carbon crown (CarbonFly Wrap Crown) saves weight and shifts it where it’s most needed – to the bottom of the club for greater shot stability. It also provides a pleasantly muted and confident sound at impact.

Extensive Loft Offerings and Trajectory Tuning 2.0
The Ping G440 hybrids are available in a wide range of lofts (from 17° in the 2-hybrid to 34° in the 7-hybrid), easily filling the gaps between long irons and fairway woods. The adjustable Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel allows loft adjustments of ±1.5° and lie adjustments up to 3° flatter, so you can achieve the perfect ball flight for your swing. For example, the 2-hybrid with a slight fade bias works excellently off the tee, while the 5-hybrid and higher lofts are designed with a slight draw bias and higher trajectory for easier control when approaching the green.
