Three models for different player needs
The new Ping G440 driver family is built around three models: MAX, LST and SFT.

• G440 MAX is the most forgiving model, designed for most golfers. It is available in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts, with a three-position weight at the back of the head.
• G440 LST (Low Spin) suits players with faster swings, as its low spin helps produce longer, more controlled shots. It is available in 9° and 10.5° lofts with the same weighting system.
• G440 SFT (Straight Flight) is ideal for golfers who struggle with a slice. It features a 23-gram weight that can be set to the Draw or Draw+ position. It is available in 9° and 10.5° lofts.

Free-Hosel Technology: A new level of efficient design
Removing weight from part of the hosel and moving it closer to the heel of the Ping G440 driver has allowed the center of gravity to be lowered to a record level. The result is a higher launch angle, optimal spin and a significant increase in ball speed off the face. This innovation, often referred to as Free-Hosel Technology, gives the driver greater stability and more forgiveness on unusual or off-center shots.

Thinner, more flexible face
The manufacturer refined the clubface profile by reducing its height, which also made it possible to make it thinner, increasing flexibility and energy transfer to the ball. For golfers, this means higher speed and, above all, more consistent results across the entire clubface, including the toe and heel areas. In short, even less-than-perfect shots have a better chance of traveling a good distance.

Lower weight and a longer standard shaft
To increase swing speed, the overall weight of the Ping G440 driver was reduced by 10 grams, while the standard shaft length was extended by 1/4 inch. For example, the standard ALTA CB Blue shaft now measures 46 inches, helping to increase clubhead speed while maintaining accuracy. The standard length for the other available shafts (e.g., PING Tour 2.0, Project X Denali Red, Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black) is 45.50 inches.

CarbonFly Wrap Crown: Low center of gravity, pleasing sound
All three Ping G440 driver models share a CarbonFly Wrap Crown, which shifts the weight saved to the sole of the club. This lowers the center of gravity even further and increases forgiveness. An added benefit is a quieter, more pleasing sound at impact, which players who value a comfortable feel at impact will appreciate.

Heavier, adjustable weights for controlling ball flight
On the MAX and LST versions, a 29-gram weight lets you easily fine-tune your fade, draw, or neutral setting. The SFT model comes with a 23-gram weight that moves the center of gravity into an even more effective position for correcting an unwanted slice. Trajectory Tuning 2.0: Loft and lie adjustment
The lightweight, eight-position hosel lets you quickly fine-tune the loft by ±1.5° and adjust the lie angle by up to 3° to a flatter setting. This feature allows subtle trajectory adjustments, so you can tailor your Ping G440 driver to your swing.
