Three models for different golfers: MAX, LST, and SFT
The Ping G440 range offers three fairway wood options that better meet the specific needs of different players:

• MAX is suitable for most golfers looking for a reliable, highly forgiving fairway wood. It is available in five lofts (3, 4, 5, 7, 9) for ideal distance gapping.
• LST (Low Spin) promises higher ball speed and lower spin, making it particularly suitable for golfers with fast swings who want longer shots. It is available in a 15° (3) or 19° (5) loft.
• SFT (Straight Flight) benefits from a CG shifted toward a draw bias, significantly reducing slices and helping produce a straighter ball flight. It is available in 16° (3), 19° (5), and 22° (7) lofts.

In the MAX models, 11.5 grams were removed from the hosel and surrounding area and reinvested in the construction of a taller face (up to 4% taller than the previous generation).
