The main goal in developing the Ping G730—the longest and most forgiving irons—was to maximize distance and make shots easier to hit. The G730 irons aren’t just about distance; above all, they’re about ease of use: easily achieving an ideal trajectory and providing high forgiveness on off-center strikes. All of this will help recreational golfers enjoy more successful shots and gradually improve their scores.

The Ping G730 irons are designed for golfers who play regularly but hardly ever practise. When they find time for golf, they want to spend it on the course rather than on the practice mat. They prefer highly forgiving clubs that are easy to hit. They are not looking to shape their shots; their main goal is to get the ball airborne easily and, if possible, into the hole without major complications.

Ping G730, men's golf irons is available for testing at our fitting centres. This is specialised equipment for a very select group of golfers, which we do not stock in standard specifications. Extreme Forgiveness
A larger head, greater offset, and wider sole in a stainless steel cast construction increase the moment of inertia (MOI), improving forgiveness and stability.

Full-Set Performance
G730 irons are available from 5 through 9, as well as PW, UW, 50° and 56° wedges. These four wedges feature a refined impact area and grooves for better control and consistent results in all conditions.

Lofts Optimized for Ideal Distance Gapping
Custom-designed lofts help increase distance while optimizing gapping. The choice of power (stronger/lower lofts) and retro (weaker/higher lofts) specifications allows fitters to further optimize performance. A tungsten screw in the toe and weight in the hosel enable fine-tuning of swing weight.

Improved Face Flex
Using hyper 17-4 stainless steel and heat treatment made it possible to thin the impact area and optimize its overall structure. Combined with the low center of gravity, this makes it easier to achieve an ideal trajectory, increases ball speed, and reduces distance loss on off-center hits.
