Ping iCrossover Driving Iron, Utility
The Ping iCrossover Driving Iron is a modern utility club designed for experienced golfers who want to improve the performance of their long irons without sacrificing control and feel. Its compact, tour-inspired design conceals a technologically advanced construction that delivers an easily adjustable ball flight, high ball speed, and improved performance on the green.
The impact face and low center of gravity are key to exceptional ball speed and a high launch angle. The thin, highly flexible face, combined with a lower CG, transfers more energy to the ball and generates a higher trajectory with greater carry and reliable spin. Milled MicroMax grooves and the Hydropearl 2.0 matte black finish ensure consistent spin even in wet conditions.
New to utility irons is an adjustable loft with Trajectory Tuning 2.0 technology, offering 8 loft and lie settings within a range of ±1.5°. This allows players to easily customize the trajectory and optimize ball flight for both distance and accuracy.
The tour-inspired head shape, with a shorter blade length, minimal offset, and rounded leading edge, delivers an elegant, compact appearance and smoother turf interaction. The shaft is approximately ¼ inch shorter as standard for improved control and accuracy.
The club’s internal cavity has been reduced and filled with EVA polymer, which dampens vibrations and provides a soft, premium feel at impact. Tungsten weights in the toe and heel increase the moment of inertia (MOI), improving forgiveness on off-center strikes.
The Ping iCrossover is an ideal choice for players seeking a controlled, high-performance club for long shots with the ability to precisely adjust the trajectory. It complements an iron set perfectly and offers versatile performance from both the tee and the fairway. Available in 2, 3, and 4 versions.
