Scotty Cameron 2024 Phantom 7
The complete Scotty Cameron Phantom range includes 10 mallet models with four unique head shapes, redesigned to improve alignment, balance the depth of the center of gravity (CG), and optimize the moment of inertia (MOI). The new models offer golfers options in lengths of 33", 34", 35", and 38" along with several neck/shaft configurations (low-bend, mid-bend, straight shaft, or jet neck) for maximum player customization. Each putter features an enhanced multi-material construction, dual-milled impact face technology, and refined aesthetics.
Design focused on high confidence at address. Based on feedback from Tour players, Scotty designed the new 2024 Phantom putter shapes with an aiming system that helps players easily and correctly address the putter before the stroke. In addition to the carefully crafted overall shape, all models are equipped with alignment systems ranging from elegantly milled aiming dots on models 5 and 7, through mechanically straight aiming lines on models 9, to arrow-shaped lines on models 11, which assist the player in aiming correctly for a successful putt.
Multi-material construction. The impact face and body of each 2024 Phantom putter are made from 303 stainless steel and integrated with elements of lightweight aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum. These multi-material constructions have allowed the creation of a head with overall greater strength, providing players with better stability, a more solid feel, and perfectly dampened vibrations.
Dual-milled face technology. Each 303 stainless steel impact face on the new Phantom putters features Scotty’s dual-milling face technology, developed on Tour and first introduced to golfers in the 2023 Super Select range. The dual-milling process delivers improved sound and feel by combining the softness of deep milling with the feedback and consistency of medium-depth grooves. Each 2024 Phantom putter face undergoes an initial deep milling, followed by a second pass that levels the groove peaks to create a flatter and more consistent surface. The result is a Tour-inspired look and feel and the most consistent ball roll to date.
Each new Phantom putter is equipped with two stainless steel weights (tungsten in the Phantom 11 Long model) and steel shafts.
What does Scotty Cameron say about the new 2024 Phantom models? "Max Homa, Justin Thomas, and players worldwide have found success with Phantom putters, and we constantly talk with them to understand what they want from their putter. Recently, better aiming systems have dominated these conversations. We used this feedback to design the new Phantoms to provide players with useful and intuitive alignment systems, not only through aiming dots and lines visible at address but also through the overall shape of each model. Every aspect of the putter’s design is interconnected. Every angle has been refined to emphasize the line of sight, so the player has a clear and confident view of every putt."
