The Phantom 5 has undergone a redesign that includes a deeper striking face, gently rounded contours, and a modified sole plate. For the golfer, this means a cleaner and more consistent setup behind the ball. This enhanced visual profile gives the player confidence when aiming and ensures the putter sits naturally on the green without a tendency to tilt.

Studio Carbon Steel Insert with Chain-link Texture

The all-new, full-surface Studio Carbon Steel insert is the heart of this putter. The specific milling pattern with a chain-link design is not just an aesthetic feature. This technology:

  • Softens the sound response: Provides a muted yet clear sound, which is key for judging stroke strength.

  • Increases softness of feel: Allows for a gentler contact, especially appreciated on delicate downhill putts.

  • Improves distance control: Consistent energy transfer from the face to the ball eliminates unexpected overshooting of the hole.

Optimized (Toe Flow) for a Straight Stroke

The shaft with a single mid bend (mid-single bend) is specifically aimed at players whose putting stroke path is nearly straight. This configuration minimizes toe rotation (toe flow), meaning the putter opens and closes less during the stroke. If you struggle to keep the face square at impact, the Phantom 5 will help stabilize your stroke path and hit your intended line.

Construction from Premium Materials

The combination of milled 303 stainless steel and lightweight aerospace aluminum allows strategic weight distribution to the perimeter parts of the head. This increases the moment of inertia (MOI), which in practice means that off-center hits (toward the toe or heel) maintain direction and energy.

Neck Variability for Every Style

The Phantom 5 considers the individual needs of every player. Besides the standard mid-bend shaft, the following variants are available:

  • Phantom 5.2: With a classic plumbing neck (for a slight arc).

  • Phantom 5.5: With a jet neck (for players requiring greater toe rotation).

  • Phantom 5 OC: A low-torque version for maximum stability.
