The impact area is fully forged from soft carbon steel, providing an exceptionally soft feel at impact and precise feedback. This is especially appreciated by players who demand consistent feel in the short game and want absolute control over the ball.

MG5 uses new Spin Tread technology and a RAW impact-area finish, which work similarly to a tyre tread: they channel away moisture and increase friction between the face and the golf ball. This allows players to maintain high spin even in challenging, wet conditions.

The completely new, milled grooves feature steeper walls and sharper edges and are manufactured to extremely precise tolerances. The result is maximum spin and control on all types of shots – from short pitches to high flop shots.

MG5 offers six different grinds designed to suit a wide range of swings and playing conditions. This allows every player to build an optimal wedge set tailored to their playing style.

Which GRIND should you choose?

• SB – A versatile sole suitable for firm, normal, and soft turf. A great choice for all swing types – shallow, neutral, and steep. The subtle four-way sole camber ensures smooth turf interaction and provides a high degree of forgiveness.
  
• LB – Designed for golfers who want the club’s leading edge to sit low to the ground with different address options (opening or closing the face). Ideal for a shallow swing (minimal or no divot) and play from hard, firm surfaces.
