TaylorMade Qi HL golf irons
Lighter weight and higher shots.
The new Qi HL (Higher and Lighter) model has higher lofts than the Qi model, while its overall weight is lower. The Qi HL model is ideal for recreational players with slower swing speeds who struggle to get the ball airborne. If you are among the players whose shots are usually very low and finish with a significant difference between where the ball lands and where it comes to rest, this iron model is designed for you. Thanks to technologies and a design that promote a high launch angle, you will be able to hit the ball more easily on the ideal trajectory. Its steeper landing angle and sufficient spin will help ensure that the ball finishes close to where it lands. This improves control and predictability, helping you lower your score.
Straight shots have never been easier.
Most irons for recreational players are designed to reduce slice. Qi irons feature TaylorMade’s patented face technology, designed to control flexibility and reduce spin for straighter shots with every club in the set.
Each head in the set is optimized for the shots most commonly played with it.
Each head has been designed to deliver specific performance for the individual iron. The design, based on the fundamental requirements of maximum distance and high forgiveness, has been adapted to make it easier to launch the ball and control its landing.
FLTD CG technology changes the strategic placement of the center of gravity in each individual iron. The long irons have the lowest center of gravity for a high launch angle and maximum forgiveness, while the center of gravity gradually moves higher to make it easier to achieve the desired distance and balanced spin with higher-lofted irons.
