TaylorMade Qi HL golf irons
Lighter weight and higher shots.
The new Qi HL (Higher and Lighter) model has higher lofts than the Qi model and a lower overall weight. The Qi HL model is ideal for recreational players who have a slower swing and struggle to get the ball airborne. If you belong to the group of players whose shots are most often very low and end with a large difference between where the ball lands and where it rolls, then this iron model is made just for you. Thanks to technologies and design supporting a high launch angle, you will more easily hit the ball on the ideal trajectory, and thanks to a steeper landing angle and sufficient spin, you will always find it close to the landing spot. This will improve control and predictability to help lower your score.
Straight shots have never been easier.
Most irons for recreational players are designed to eliminate slices. Qi irons are equipped with TaylorMade’s patented impact face technology, designed to control flex and reduce spin for straighter shots with every club in the set.
Each clubhead in the set is optimized for the shots it is most often used for.
Each clubhead was designed to provide specific performance for each iron. The design, based on the fundamental requirements of maximum distance and high forgiveness, has been adapted to make it easy to get the ball airborne and control its landing.
FLTD CG technology changes the strategic placement of the center of gravity for each specific iron. The long irons have the lowest center of gravity for a high launch angle and maximum forgiveness, and the center of gravity gradually moves higher to make it easier to achieve the desired distance and balanced spin even with higher lofted irons.
