Titleist GTS2, men's fairway wood

Titleist GTS2 Men’s Fairway Wood – Maximum Launch and Stability from the Turf or Tee

The Titleist GTS2 men’s fairway wood is designed for golfers seeking maximum assistance when playing from the turf and demanding a high ball launch with optimal spin. Compared with the GTS3, it features a shallower face and a larger head profile, making it an ideal choice for players with a flatter swing (sweeping delivery). Thanks to its new construction with a composite crown and advanced weighting system, the GTS2 offers exceptional forgiveness and stability, giving you confidence on long shots into the green and precise tee shots on narrow holes.

Titleist GTS2: Innovative Technology for Easier Long-Game Performance

The Titleist GTS2 fairway wood pushes the boundaries of performance through a combination of lightweight materials and strategic weight distribution. If you struggle to launch a fairway wood high enough, the GTS2 is the solution to take your game to the next level.

Wraparound Composite Crown

The key to the GTS2’s high performance is its multi-material construction. The new composite crown extends over the edges of the clubhead, allowing engineers to save approximately 16 grams of weight. This weight was then repositioned deeper and lower in the clubhead. For the golfer, this means one thing: a lower center of gravity, which makes it easier to launch the ball (high launch), reduces unwanted spin and dramatically increases forgiveness on shots struck away from the absolute center.

Forged L-Cup Face Design

The GTS2 uses a forged L-Cup insert made from high-strength stainless steel that flows seamlessly into the lower portion of the clubhead. This technology is critical for shots played directly from the turf, which are often struck low on the face. The L-Cup effectively maintains high ball speed and optimal launch conditions even on these “thin” shots. The result is consistent distance, even when contact with the ball is not perfect.

Dual Weight System for Precise Fitting

For the first time in a “2” series model, Titleist introduces a system of two interchangeable weights positioned in the heel and toe (11 g in the heel and 5 g in the toe as standard). This system enables fine-tuning of the center of gravity across the face. Switching the weights can promote a fade trajectory or, conversely, help generate spin to straighten the shot, providing personalized performance tailored to the player’s swing.

Tour-Inspired Profile and Silver Face

Based on feedback from professionals, the GTS2 features a flatter sole design, allowing the leading edge to sit more naturally against the ground. The new polished silver face visually highlights the club’s loft at address. This psychological element helps players strike the ball more confidently with a descending blow and achieve cleaner contact, as also confirmed by PGA Tour testing.

Loft and Shaft Options

The Driver is available in a wide range of lofts for optimal set gapping and is fitted with premium shafts that support stability and feel.

  • Available lofts: 13.5°, 15.0°, 16.5°, 18.0°, 21.0°.

  • Shafts: Project X Titan Black, Mitsubishi Tensei 1K (White, Blue, Red) and premium Graphite Design options.

Key Benefits for Golfers:

  • Shallower face: Easier contact with the ball directly from the fairway.

  • High forgiveness: Extreme stability thanks to the deeply positioned center of gravity.

  • Larger profile: Maximum confidence when setting up behind the ball.

  • High launch: L-Cup technology and a composite crown for longer shots through the air.
