Titleist GTS2, men's golf driver
Titleist GTS2: Technology for Longer and More Accurate Drives
The Titleist GTS2 Driver is designed to push the boundaries of your game off the tee. If you are looking for the stability and high level of forgiveness also used by PGA Tour stars such as Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth, this model was made for you.
Split Mass Frame and PMP Polymer Construction
The foundation of the GTS2’s exceptional performance is the new Split Mass Frame design. The driver body is made from patented Matrix Polymer (PMP), which covers nearly 60% of the head’s surface but accounts for only 13% of its weight. This weight saving enabled Titleist engineers to distribute the mass strategically across two zones:
-
Forward and low: To achieve extreme ball speed and ideal launch dynamics.
-
Rearward: To increase the moment of inertia (MOI), meaning the clubhead remains stable even on off-center hits. In practice, this means exceptional forgiveness, less dispersion and longer shots, even when you do not strike the ball perfectly in the center.
Advanced Aerodynamics for Higher Swing Speed
The GTS2 benefits from an improved head shape with a raised rear section. This design reduces drag and keeps airflow close to the crown and sole of the club. As a result, you can achieve higher swing speed with the same effort. Unlike conventional aerodynamic drivers, where the center of gravity can be an issue, the GTS2 uses the saved weight to maintain an optimal center of gravity, so you do not sacrifice ball control for speed.
Speed Sync Face
The new Speed Sync Face technology optimizes the flexibility of the face across its entire surface. While the perimeter of the face is reinforced for maximum rebound (COR) on center strikes, the upper section is more flexible. This significantly helps on shots struck in the upper half of the driver, allowing them to retain high initial speed and optimal spin. Variable Face Thickness then ensures that the entire driver face performs more efficiently, increasing the club’s overall forgiveness.
Dual-Weighting System for Individual Adjustments
Every swing is unique, which is why the GTS2 features a dual-weight system (11 g forward, 5 g rearward). This system allows for fine-tuning of the launch angle and spin. If you need greater stability and a higher trajectory, you can adjust the center of gravity to suit your playing profile. This personalization helps unlock the maximum potential of your game and adapt the driver to your unique needs.
Visual Alignment and Premium Shafts
The new, high-contrast graphics on the clubface are not merely an aesthetic feature. They help the player align the ball more accurately with the center and visually highlight the club’s loft at address, increasing confidence before the shot. The Driver is fitted with premium shafts from the Project X and Mitsubishi Tensei ranges, as well as premium Graphite Design options, ensuring perfect energy transfer to the ball.
