Mizuno ST Max 230 Fairway
Maximum stability
The ST-MAX 230 Fairway Wood is designed with a larger footprint and wide profile for extreme stability. Wrapping the tip in composite material (wrap around toe composite) helps increase resistance to twisting and ensures that even on off-center hits, the trajectory remains as straight and predictable as possible.
Extended CORTECH Chamber
At the heart of the new fairway wood is a redesigned CORTECH Chamber – a massive stainless steel filled with TPU elastomer. This construction relieves stress from the impact face and also acts as an additional energy source. In the ST-MAX 230 model, the chamber is extended and moved closer to the impact face, increasing ball speed even on off-center hits.
High Energy MAS1C Steel Face
The ST-MAX 230 uses high-strength MAS1C steel material with a multi-layer thickness on the impact face. This striking surface is designed to generate high ball speed across a wider area while maintaining the necessary durability for long life.
Speed Bevel
The adjustment of the club's leading edge ensures smoother passage through the swing path and minimizes resistance when contacting the turf. This feature also helps maintain swing speed when playing from the fairway or light rough, enabling longer and more consistent shots even off the tee.
Quick Switch Hosel
Golfers can adjust the head angle and loft within seconds thanks to four-step adjustment. This flexibility allows you to easily customize ball flight and optimize distance and control according to your preferences and current course conditions.
Wrap Around Toe Composite
Graphite composite in the tip significantly helps balance the entire head. Shifting weight from metal to composite in the tip reduces head twisting on impact, increasing stability and forgiveness off-center.
