Mizuno T-22 Golf Wedge, Satin Chrome
The T-22 comes in three color options and four sole shaping variants. Especially sporty players will appreciate the compact head size with a thinner top line and balance for maximum spin even with a lower, more penetrating trajectory.
A design that takes the best from its predecessors.
The Mizuno T7 was very successful among sporty and performance players who prefer maximum playability and the look of true blades. The T-20 model brought high forgiveness and balance to make wedges playable even for a wide group of recreational players. The new T-22 takes the best from both models and brings to the market a sporty-looking wedge and balance that makes it easier to play even for players with higher handicaps.
Super soft feel on ball contact.
Mizuno is known for its forged irons that offer a super soft feel on ball contact. With full swing shots, you can fully enjoy this feel, but for wedge shots it was necessary to bring something new to the market, which is a copper layer that softens the feel of shots hit with 3/4 or half swings.
Four soles for the ideal match with your preference
S - narrow sole, ideal for full, straight shots, most often with PW or AW. D - universal sole on SW and LW for most players who want to experiment with different types of chips. C - have a shaped sole for greater shot variability on hard ground. X - sole shaped for the needs of the best players who like to twist, open, close, or play off the tip. X offers endless possibilities for creativity.
Spin when you need it most.
Each head of the new T-22 is balanced to work best for the shots most commonly played with them. PW and AW have a low center of gravity to launch the ball into the air and have it drop steeply onto the green for better control after landing, while SW and LW have the center of gravity shifted to the back upper half for a lower trajectory and maximum spin on short chips where full ball compression does not occur.
More accuracy in rain and dew.
A wet impact surface reduces spin, so Mizuno uses laser-etched micro grooves that more easily channel moisture and increase stability and control.
Longer groove life thanks to special boron steel.
Mizuno has been using boron alloy in irons for several years and now brings this material to wedges as well. Boron makes the steel stronger and thus extends its lifespan. Thanks to this, the grooves remain more precise for longer, so you can rely on longer-lasting maximum performance.
