The G430 MAX 10K is so far the straightest and most forgiving Ping driver, which has surpassed the 10,000 g-cm2 combined moment of inertia threshold. The G430 MAX 10K model features three main visible technologies and differences: a fixed rear weight - for stable higher launch angle and lower spin, a larger head profile - for maximum confidence at address, and a carbon crown - for weight savings and balancing as much as possible around the perimeter of the head.

Ping G430 Max 10K Driver

The fixed rear weight achieves record MOI by shifting the center of gravity down and back, increasing forgiveness, reducing spin, and maintaining ball speed on shots across the entire impact face for greater distance.

The heavier rear weight (28 g) was made possible by weight savings from the carbon crown, creating a powerful combination of accuracy and distance that meets the performance needs of all golfers—from tour professionals to everyday players. The shallower and thinner forged impact face is optimized for greater flex to ensure higher ball speed. It relies on the Spinsistency innovation, which optimizes spin across the entire impact face for greater distance.

The largest PING head profile to date maximizes the dimensions allowed by the USGA while fitting within the 460 cm3 volume limit. This eye-pleasing shape helps the golfer get closer to the target and inspires confidence for longer and more accurate drives.
