Redesigned face and optimal trajectory
The key to the success of the Ping G440 hybrids is their shallower (by 8%) and thinner (by 6%) face, which increases flexibility and helps players hit the ball higher on the face. This makes it easier to achieve a higher launch and longer carry. The optimized thickness distribution of the impact area also stabilizes speed even on off-center hits, so you can expect consistent results and better outcomes even on imperfect strikes.

Free-Hosel Technology and lower CG
In the design of the Ping G440 hybrids, 4 grams were removed from around the hosel, which lowered the center of gravity by a full 12%. Combined with a lower face, this means even higher launch and more effective stopping of the ball on the green. This innovation, called Free-Hosel Technology, allows better control of the flight path and increases forgiveness in case the shot is on the edge of accuracy.

Contoured Sole Design and carbon crown
The sophisticated shape of the sole (Contoured Sole Design) ensures that the Ping G440 hybrid sets on the course surface at a consistent angle even when loft or lie changes. The carbon crown (CarbonFly Wrap Crown) saves weight and shifts it where it is most needed – to the bottom of the club for higher shot stability. Additionally, it provides a pleasantly muted and confident sound upon ball contact.

Extensive Loft Offerings and Trajectory Tuning 2.0
Ping G440 hybrids are available in a wide range of lofts (from 17° for the 2-hybrid to 34° for the 7-hybrid), so they easily fill the gaps between long irons and fairway woods. The adjustable Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel allows you to fine-tune the loft by ±1.5° and adjust the lie by up to 3° flatter, so you achieve the perfect flight curve for your swing. For example, the 2-hybrid with a slight fade preference works excellently off the tee, while the 5-hybrid and higher lofts are designed with a slight draw tendency and higher trajectory for easier control when approaching the green.
