Ping iCrossover Driving Iron, Utility
The Ping iCrossover Driving Iron is a modern utility club designed for experienced golfers who want to improve the performance of their long irons without losing control and feel. Its compact tour design houses a technologically advanced construction that delivers easily adjustable ball flight, high speed, and better green impact.
The impact area and low center of gravity are key to exceptional ball speed and high launch angle. The thin, highly flexible face combined with a lower CG transfers more energy to the ball, generating a higher trajectory with greater carry and reliable spin. Milled MicroMax grooves and Hydropearl 2.0 black matte finish ensure consistent spin even in wet conditions.
A new feature in utility irons is the adjustable loft with Trajectory Tuning 2.0 technology, offering 8 loft and lie settings within ±1.5°. This allows the player to easily customize trajectory and optimize ball flight for distance and accuracy.
The tour-inspired head shape with a shorter blade length, minimal offset, and rounded leading edge delivers an elegant, compact look and easier turf interaction. The shaft length is typically about ¼ inch shorter for better control and accuracy.
The club's internal cavity is reduced and filled with EVA polymer, which ensures vibration damping and a soft, premium feel at impact. Tungsten weights in the tip and heel increase the moment of inertia (MOI), enhancing forgiveness on off-center hits.
The Ping iCrossover is an ideal choice for players seeking a controlled and powerful club for long shots with the option of precise trajectory adjustment. It perfectly complements a set of irons and offers versatile use from the tee and fairway. Available in 2, 3, and 4 variants.
