TaylorMade Qi HL golf irons
Lighter weight and higher shots.
The new Qi HL (Higher and Lighter) model has higher lofts than the Qi model and their overall weight is lower. The Qi HL model will be ideal for recreational players who have a slower swing and have difficulty getting the ball into the air. If you belong to the group of players whose shots are most often very low and end with a large difference in distance between where the ball lands and where it rolls, then this iron model is designed just for you. Thanks to technologies and design supporting a high launch angle, you will more easily hit the ball on an ideal trajectory and thanks to a steeper landing angle and sufficient spin, you will always find it near the landing spot. This will improve control and predictability to lower your score.
Straight shots have never been easier.
Most irons for recreational players are designed to eliminate slices. Qi irons are equipped with TaylorMade's patented impact face technology, which is designed to control flex and eliminate spin for straighter shots with all clubs in the set.
Each head in the set is optimized for the shots it is most often used for.
Each head was designed to provide specific performance for individual irons. The design, based on the basic requirements for maximum distance and high forgiveness, was adapted to make it easy to get the ball into the air and control its landing.
FLTD CG technology changes the strategic placement of the center of gravity for each specific iron. The lowest center of gravity is in the long irons for a high launch angle and maximum forgiveness, and the center of gravity gradually moves higher to make it easier to achieve the desired distance and balanced spin even with irons with higher loft.
