As a Hybrid with the highest trajectory in the Titleist range, the GT1 offers a combination of ultra-light construction and advanced weight distribution that support higher ball speed, medium spin, and a higher launch angle. The key feature of the GT1 Hybrid is its extremely light construction, appreciated especially by players with medium swing speeds. It is available in a standard version or with even lighter shafts and grips, allowing you to ideally match the club to the speed and smoothness of your swing. To increase Forgiveness on off-center hits, Titleist added perimeter weighting and deepened the center of gravity backward, creating even greater stability at impact. The club sole (bottom part) is designed to smoothly glide through the turf, providing clean contact even in tall grass or less ideal lies.
The main innovation, however, is the adjustable center of gravity, which lets you play with trajectory height, spin, and ball speed simply by turning a key. Placing the heavier weight back increases stability and supports a higher launch. Moving it forward reduces spin and adds ball speed, allowing you to easily tailor the flight characteristics to your playing style or course conditions.
Forgiveness plays a key role here – high MOI and an expanded impact area ensure that even shots struck off-center do not lose much distance or accuracy. The overall balance also positively affects the comfortable feel in the hands at impact and contributes to an improved sound at ball contact.
