Titleist U505 is a driving/utility iron designed for golfers who want to regain confidence on long shots. Compared to traditional long irons, it delivers greater distance and forgiveness, while offering lower spin than a hybrid, making it an ideal choice for more accurate tee and fairway shots.

The club design is based on the demands of PGA Tour players – a more compact head with a shorter length and shallow impact face ensures a clean, unobstructed view of the ball and allows easy shot shaping as needed.

The improved feel at impact is provided by the innovative Max Impact technology combined with a dampening polymer badge on the back of the head. This optimizes the frequencies generated at impact, delivering a solid, convincing sound and feel that players will love.

The U505 also offers greater forgiveness on off-center hits. Thanks to a more stable chassis and lower center of gravity, the club maintains ball speed and stability even on strikes away from the center of the impact face. The new one-sided tapered shape of the impact face further improves performance on shots near the heel, reducing distance dispersion.

Another advantage is the variable bounce sole, inspired by Vokey Design’s know-how. The shallower trailing edge of the sole ensures smooth turf interaction and clean contact, even on imperfect strikes – which is absolutely crucial for a utility club.
