Mizuno JPX One Select men's golf driver
The Mizuno JPX ONE SELECT is a player-oriented version of JPX ONE technology, designed for golfers who demand maximum control, lower spin, and the ability to shape their shots.
The Driver uses the same revolutionary technology as the standard JPX ONE, but in a more compact 460cc head that looks clean and confident and meets the demands of better players.
At the heart of its performance is the world’s first NANOALLOY™ impact face, developed by Mizuno in collaboration with materials specialists Toray. The microscopic polymer structure at the nanoscale allows the impact face to dynamically change its elasticity at impact, minimizing energy loss and maximizing energy transfer to the golf ball. The result is higher ball speed across a significantly larger impact zone, even on hits away from the ideal contact point on the impact face.
The newly designed CORTECH Face, optimized specifically to work with NANOALLOY™ technology, is up to 0.25–0.35 mm thinner in key areas than those of previous generations. This significantly expands the CORAREA (high-rebound zone), making it larger than in the ST-X and ST-Z 230 models. Golfers therefore gain a combination of speed, consistency, and confidence on every shot.
The JPX ONE SELECT has a shallower center of gravity (CG), contributing to lower spin and a more penetrating trajectory. The head’s weight distribution is tuned for a straight to slightly fade bias, which is especially appreciated by players with a stable swing who want to minimize the clubhead’s tendency to turn over and maintain full control over the ball’s flight direction. This makes the Driver highly predictable and allows active trajectory control.
The construction also includes an 11g rear weight that can be used during fitting to fine-tune stability, spin, and the head’s overall balance. The Quick Switch system allows for rapid shaft changes, so the Driver can be precisely adapted to individual swing parameters.
The Mizuno JPX ONE SELECT is an ideal choice for advanced amateurs and performance-oriented players who want modern speed and a technological edge while preferring a compact look, lower spin, and maximum control from the tee.
